Overview

Queensbridge School is committed to improving the outcomes of all learners regardless of their additional needs.

The majority of young people with SEN will have their needs met through classroom teaching and regular assessment to monitor progress. Special educational needs and provision can now be considered under 4 broad areas:

  • Communication and interaction
  • Cognition and learning
  • Social, mental and emotional health
  • Sensory and/or physical

Behavioural difficulties do not necessarily mean that young person has SEN and does not automatically lead to a pupils being registered as having SEN.

The SEN page outlines how Queensbridge School will support learners identified with SEN, alternatively you can download the whole document here.
