The bike shed builders

As the boxes arrived into reception today we all wondered what it was...not until the amazing site staff came along and pieced it all together did we realise that we've got a brand new covered bike shed. They didn't even need the instructions! These unsung Queensbridge heroes help keep our school a happy and safe place. Once it's finished and in place we'll need lots of students to be saving the planet and keeping fit by cycling to school.

School Photographer Visits Queensbridge


All of our new Year 7 pupils saw the school photogrpaher this week, along with new staff and pupils from other year groups. These photos will be helpful within school to accompany registers for teaching groups and proofs will be sent home in the next week or so order copies to keep.

Netball Victories!

Our Key Stage 3 girls produced emphatic wins over Bishop Challoner this week in our first netball matches of the season. Our star players were Jodie Harrison from Year 7, a key player in a 10-7 win, and Thandi Smith who played in the 11-2 win. Well done, girls, we are very proud of you!

Year 10 AAA Assemblies underway

Today Year 10 had their first AAA (Attendance, Attitude, Attainment) assembly; a fun way to encourage healthy competition between the 6 Tutor Groups in Year 10.
