Today we held a non-school uniform day for pupils and staff to raise money for the annual Children in Need appeal. On Wednesday our year 11 boys football team played a cup game against Bartley Green School. The weather conditions made it difficult however the team did QB proud against a very good Bartley Green team. The score was 2-1 at half time however, BGS showed their strength and came out 5-1 winners.

KS3 pupils have had a very busy week in DT Food, with a week of independent recipes and cooking. The smells coming from room 115 were amazing, with recipes including jalfrezi, burgers, keema curry and ginger cake. Well done Year 8 and Year 9

Despite low light levels, the front of school was packed with over 50 KS3 pupils on Wednesday in Netball and Football training. Lots of matches are planned through the second half of the term, come along to cheer our pupils to greater success!

Our Year 7 and 8 QB+ astronomy group have well and truly ‘reached for the stars’ this week! After significant research over the past weeks, the group have identified parts of the solar system they wish to photograph and ordered images via a space agency. Out of this world!
