Ramadan Streets Art Workshop

The art department were honoured to be able to take a group of Year 9 artists to participate in an art program called 'Breaking Bread' with acclaimed Manga artist and graphic novelist Asia Alfasi as part of the Ramadan Streets festival on the Coventry Road.  The workshop was designed to celebrate community and togetherness: both fundamental aspects of Ramadan and also our school values here at Queensbridge.

Our students were led by Asia to learn Manga character techniques and then draw their character on the large banner that was displayed at the fantastic Ramadan Streets Night market.  The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and created some fantastic work.  We are really proud of them!
