We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Food and Nutrition who will share our determination to transform the life chances of our pupils.  Queensbridge School is an 11 - 16 comprehensive, friendly and oversubscribed all-ability Foundation School of 900 pupils. 

We value Food and Nutrition as part of our broad and balanced curriculum and we are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher who:

  • is infectiously enthusiastic about Food and Nutrition with a real flair and passion to develop an engaging and innovative curriculum which will inspire and engage our students
  • Has excellent classroom management skills and a high expectation for all students based on a strong track record with examination groups at both Key Stages
  • Has the vision, drive and enthusiasm to have a significant impact on attainment and progress within Food and Nutrition
  • Will actively contribute to the long term vision and practice of both the whole school and the Food and Nutrition Department.

 

Contributing to the day-to-day operations of the school, including form tutoring

Queensbridge School has an extensive programme of wider learning and a willingness to contribute to this aspect of school would be essential.
